Washing Machine Repair - Kenmore Washe

I scheduled a repair on our Kenmore HE "door boot" on June 27th. The repair was scheduled for today, July 9th; noon-4pm cst. We had this same repair last year in September. The new "boot" arrived promptly on July 2nd. Since we were on vacation, we came back a day early so we wouldn't have to take off another day of work. NO one called to let us know they couldn't make it. I went online to the blog site and Arthur White messaged back that my appointment was tomorrow. Though, this morning I called the service 1-800 number and the automated service stated we had an appointment today from noon-4pm. Then, he ended the blog. I logged back on and messaged with Pat Simmons, who was helpful, but found out that the service technician was behind today and wouldn't be coming. Now that it was after 4pm, I figured that one out. Pat, then stated I would have to reschedule the appointment. First off, shouldn't someone have called to let me know they wouldn't be arriving? And secondly, shouldn't todays appointments that are MISSED, be pushed to the next day? Automatically??? I'm sorry, but that's the first thing taught in management classes. AND a customer should not have to call YOU to find out WHY you are NOT HERE! Long story shorter. I called to reschedule as guess what? Next available appointment is 6 days away! Let's see I called Thursday, June 27th, so it's possible that 3 weeks later it will be fixed. OH, if they can make all of their appointments that day!!
