I think i got rip-off. Why? On, november 26th, i got a call about a great credit card that i was approved for $2000.00, but would have to make a deposit of $159.95 plus shipping of $14.95. Which i thought it was great, because i just had finish paying off all my debt and i needed a credit card to re-establish my credit.
They ask me for my checking account number to withdrawl $174.90 on december, 10th, which they did they conference called me with a someone to make sure i was given all the right information and to get my authorization to withdrawl the money from my checking account.
They gave me a customer services phone number which is (877) 876-7890. Just incase i don't recieve my credit card within 4-6 weeks to call them with a tracking number they provided #4089400.
On, january 08th i called to see why i haven't recieved my credit card, but it took three days to get through to someone they said first the system was down to call in 2 hours which i did every 2 hours from 8am to 8pm and they told me the the same thing to call back in 2 hours, they were still having problems.
I called the next day the phone was busy the entire day from 8am - 8pm which they told they open.
On the 10th i got thru a human being. And i explain to her that it has been almost 5 weeks and i haven't recieved nothing.
See told me it take 4-6 weeks, but i'll put a notice in the system. And if i haven't recieved a welcome letter. She will send me another one, which i haven't gotten yet untill this day.
Now, if i even try to call the # they gave me it's either busy-busy. Or after you dial you don't even her the phone ringing.
But today 01/30/02 i call a voice come out stating the that this mail box is full after it has been busy allday and re-dialing constant. (i hope you find these people who are doing this).
