Account Now Restricting My Account and Giving The Run Around

My name is Michael Daniels and I have an Account Now Visa card. I had our (my wife and I) tax refund direct deposited to my card and first of all the refund was late. We called Jackson Hewitt and they informed us that it was received by Account Now at 8:00 A.M. On February 26, but the funds didn't show up on the card until 6:00 A.M. On February 28. We went about the usual business of catching up on past due bills and much needed shopping for our household. On that same afternoon, my card was declined when I tried to make a purchase at the local Wal Mart. I immediately called customer service and was told by customer support that we could make purchases via credit. We made one more purchase and that evening I went to make another purchase and again my card was declined. Again I called Customer Service and was informed by them that my account was restricted and they didn't give a reason why. The next day we call to hear the account balance and when I gave my information (last name, SSN, Zip code) the recording said that it didn't recognize my information. I tried again thinking that I typed the wrong number somewhere, and still the same response. We had to use my wife's Account Now card to get through to customer service. The wait time to talk to a customer service rep was very long and when we finally got through, we were told that it was restricted because of suspected fraud activity. We asked to speak to a supervisor and the supervisor said that my account was under review and they would give me a call back by close of business that day. When it got close to close of business, I called them back and was put through to the Risk Department and was instructed by that department to fax in a copy of my photo ID, Social Security card, and copy of my utility bill. I took a photo of the required documents with my camera phone and emailed it to the Risk Dept (disputes@ accountnow inc.com). They informed me that it will take 24 to 72 hours for them to review what I sent to them and lift the restriction off of my account. I still have to pay for rent and other bills. Having my card restriced has really put me and my family in a very bad place. We are about to get evicted becasue of this, and I have a family with 4 kids to take care of. This is happening because of Account Now and I have already written to the Better Business Bureau and contacted my attorney on this mattter. I really didn't want to take that route, being that I've been a loyal customer since 2011. I not only want my money that is being wrongfully held, I'm also wanting compensation for attorney fees and court cost. It's because of Account Now that my family has been put in this position and justice must be served.
