I had an account with AccountNow for a while only to realize I was losing more money than gaining. When I called them to close my account they hung up on me. I had to call them back again. Which cost me another dollar to speak to them on their 1-800 #. Then once the customer service person took my information. I found out instead of allowing me to close my account they blocked my account. My own money I could not remove. AccountNow advised me I had to mail them my three pieces of IDENTIFICATION to have my account unblocked!!! What occurred afterward was definitely a nightmare. They set up a series of scam activities to give me the run around. I had to wait for 3- months for the block to be removed and then for me to close my account! The supervisor stating they couldn't find my paper work I had promptly mailed to them. Then to resend it only to hear It's not clear copy's, send your paper work again.By the time this was completed, AccountNow continued to charge me monthly fees of [$9.95] [DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT. The only way I was refunded my money and close my account was I decided to call the Attorney General in their area. Never again this business "accountnow" is a danger to your health... A major stressful experience. Beware of whom you choose to do your banking with or further more any business practice. Check them out even surpassing the BBC...
