I have only had my loan with Ameriquest for a little over a year and wish I had not refinanced with them.in approx 1 1/2 years of payments they have screwed up on applying the extra principal 3 times. The first time it took 3 months (yes MONTHS) for them to correct THEIR mistake. I was told it was my fault even though I listed it on the payment coupon they enclosed and request that you return.
Each time I called I talked to a different person who was no more help than the last one. And no one could tell me who I had been talking to. I had been hung up on, laughed at and just plain treated like I wasn't that important of a customer. My suggestion to everyone is do not go with Ameriquest. They are more trouble than they are worth.
