Groupon just deactivated my account and stole my remaining credits of $35!! Just before that, they made a whole mess of something I ordered throught their site by mail, then did not credit my account for it as promised, then credited me for the wrong deal, then followed up (after numerous complaints from me), by closing my account because I had initially - over a year ago - opened more than one... Groupon account! First, if they did not want people to do that, then they should have not made it possible. Second, they are being vindictive and stealing money left in my account instead of making things right and correcting the mistakes they have made with my account.incidentally, I have not used any of the additional accounts that I had initially created (thinking that it was no big deal, since technically I paid for every deal) since one of their customer service people told me over a year ago that I was not supposed to have more than one account. If it was such a big violation, then why were all the other accounts allowed to remain opened all this time, although they were dormant? Since Groupon first opened, they made so many changes to their policies that it was impossible to keep track. Most people do not read small print and I am sure that many of you have created additional accounts. There are other discount deal providers in town besides Groupon, I would buy from them. Speaking of the pot calling the kettle black - Groupon is in the middle of at least two class action lawsuits, one of which is alleging that they deliberately manipulated company finances just before going public! I hope they find a good orifice to put the money they have stolen from me.
