I placed my first order on April 20, for the Silk Luxe Frontal piece, Deep Ripple wave pattern, Virgin Indian Remy. My next order was for 2 pkgs. Of the #5 Contagious Deep Ripple, Virgin Indian Remy. This matched perfectly.
The Contagious Hair website includes a picture of Beyonce wearing the Deep Ripple texture... That is all I have ordered.
It wasn't until my last two orders that I received this other texture. The last bag even stated Deep Wave... For me a far cry from Deep Ripple. I took photos of the two different textures snd it is obvious this wave pattern will be vastly different. It was big frizzy hair. This wave pattern than does not match the Silk Luxe Frontal, Deep Wave piece that I purchased from this site. I had no other choice but to use it since it arrived the day before my hair appointment. There was no way to blend this texture with the Deep Ripple lace frontal piece, so all I could do was braid it into a ponytail or bun. I emailed the company, to alert them to the error. After waiting over a month for my order, (placed on 2/1 & not received until 3/14) & the wrong texture yet again, I was forced to try and locate what I needed locally, but the inconvenience was irritating at best.
If the fact that they are no longer pre-cleaning & makes that big of a difference in the texture (per Mr. Shamir Talib), perhaps they could have alerted their customers, so that we would be aware of the situation. Women know what they order and wear, especially on their heads. I have made 2 requests for an RMA# so that I can return the hair, since it is of no use to me (still in original packaging & unopened and have my money refunded. I paid through Paypal & they said that my issue was related to merchandise quality, but it is not. I was sent a different product and one that I cannot use, than the one the I ordered. I can't get anyone to respond to my emails. I have tried very hard to be patient but this is completely frustrating. I hope you can help me. I don't know what else to do.
