This i just a warning to anyone considering buying a gift card for a loved one from massage envy!
Massage envy will sell you a gift card, and tell you it is all inclusive, including tax and tip and massage, but when your loved one goes to pay with the their gift card, massage envy invents extra fees, and tells your loved one that either they must pay out of pocket on the spot, or be FORCED into joining an expensive monthly membership THAT THEY CANNOT, YES CANNOT, CANCEL!
Stay away from massage envy! They will not tell the truth about what the massage will really end up costing your loved ones! Your loved ones will go, believing they received a thoughtful gift from you, but the only gift they receive is an expensive nightmare, mafia style!
Your loved one will have to pay out of their pocket for the 'gift' you spent all that money on!!! Plus, since the loved one believes the gift is a gift, so they won't have to pay, massage envy knows they may not have money on them since it was a paid for gift!!! That way, they actually force your loved ones into a membership they cannot afford, or even wanted to join!!!
This should be illegal! Yeah, what a great gift; nooooooooooooooooot. Go elsewhere for a gift massage! A place where they don't lie about your giftcard or force your loved ones into their rip off membership, which like i said cannot be canceled! They will suspend it if you can't afford it, and then they will start calling your loved ones, harrassing them to pay for a membership they were forced into, didn't want, and didn't use.
Massage envy - no thanks! I don't want your "gifts".
The nerve! And imagine how many mothers were forced like the mob into a membership on mother's day. Yeah, way to treat mothers.
