Recieved a call today to confirm upcoming service and conditions. I could barely understand the person. I am not going to agree to something if I can only half understand. I asked her to slow down. How are you going to engender good communications without hiring native speakers. This is not slander, and I was not rude to the woman. It just makes sense not to outsource jobs that Americans can do, or if it was an East Indian/American I was speaking to, have higher standards in fluency and idiomatic EnglishI grew up in San Francisco, surrounded by non native speakers, and I even had ahard time - imagine someone from mid America. I expect more from Directv.
