Installer came out 11/30/09 - disconnected (so called service) 12/1/09 (actually called same day of service to try to have something resolved, could not even get local channels in HD which our other service provided) the picture quality (or lack of) was very poor. Mind you we cancelled our service in 24hrs, which they have time my husband called, so forth. Before the conversation ended which we had on speaker phone we were told that we would not be charged for early cancellation because we only had service less than 24hrs, 8 days later Direct TV theives took $450 out of our bank account (mind you at christmas time) they said it would take 6-8 weeks for rufund, I was so irate but got the confirmation #, I filed affidavid with my bank (they were not authorized to take this out, and said we would not have to pay this) 10 business days the money was not in our account, the assistant bank manager wanted our contract, he proceeds to call direct tv and got log# of call that they would expidite our refund gave him new card # and said refund will be in our account within 72 hours, that of course did not happen, I called again spoke with cancellation department, with all information, she it least took the time to look over our account notes, said since 12/14, refund was not even being in the process 3 different calls (and the bank) nothing was done. I thought I was going to explode. She proceeds to tell me she got with upper management and will have this in my account 5-8 business days, tomarrow will be the last day. If it is not in our bank account this week, I have attorney general, FCC, and BBB on speed dial, and that will not stop me from some kind of legal action, this in my opinion is theft!!!
