I have been a walmart customer for many
years. On Mon Jan. 25th, I asked to be
measured for contact lenses only. As
I already have glasses. At the end ot of the exam, they did not have the lenses I wished to purchase. They then
refused to give me the prescription for the lenses and told me I owed them
$250.00, I was appalled. I refused to
pay then they told me I owed $50.00
which I paid by check. They then refused to give me the prescription
for the lenses. I spoke to them on
the phone and still they refuse, stating now, that they didn't fit me
For lenses. This is a flat out lie.
That is all I asked for "to be fitted
for lenses". It wasn't until after
they realized they did not have the
Lenses I wanted, that they wanted me
To pay $250.00, and said they never
Fitted me for the lenses. Fortunatel,
my friend Jim Mona was with me and
Witnessed this entire fiasco.
I refuse to be intellectualy insulted
and ripped off financially. I am a
Senior citizen who has been shopping
in Walmart for many years, including
at the vision center. This is the
Walmart in Berlin, New Jersey, on Rt. 73 Can you please help me and inform
them to give me what I fianlly paid
$50.00 for. Otherwise, I went in there
had an examination for lenses paid $50.00, and walked away with absolutely
nothing. They are claiming they did
Not give me an exam for lenses. This
Is a bold faced lie. I asked for an
exam for lenses only. Is this how
The vision center at Walmart does
Business??? Ripping off seniors?
I want the prescription for the lenses
I paid $50.00 for.
Thanking you in advance
