I ordered a pair of shoes through Kohl's online. I didn't like the shoes so packaged them up and did what was requested to return them. I waited almost a month then finally called customer service and went through the 20 minutes of prompts and being on hold to finally speak to someone. I explained that I returned the shoes but have not received my credit yet. I was asked several questions then was asked what my tracking number was. I told them I returned the shoes through the post office and had a label number on my receipt. I also called and had the post office check and they had proof that the item had been returned. I was told by Kohl's that without a tracking number they couldn't refund my money. I informed them that no where in the return instructions did it say I had to return my item with a tracking number. I put all the paperwork inside the package that was requested, but was again refused a refund. I am out $20.71, which isn't much, but the fact that they have refused to help me and the fact that I paid for one of their items and will not get a refund - not to mention the $12.00 I am out of for mailing the item back to them. Their website advertises "Hassle Free Returns", which is false advertising.
