I am a loyal customer with Dish Network and have been for years and all of my bills are auto paid via a credit card, every month~Paid in Full.
I recieved a collection notice from a collection co for a Dish Account that I NERVER opened nor one that I ever knew about. I was not contacted by Dish through E-mail, regular mail, I spoke to no one regarding this other account, nor was I text anything regarding any past due amounts, yet I was turned in for collection on this account I knew nothing about. I have spoken to seven (7) different people at dish and keep getting what surely feels like run around. I have done do diligence in filing an incedent report with the PA state police regarding possible identy theft, sent a copy of my license and an affidavit from the Federal Trade Commision with all related info including the state police incedent report number was faxed to dish with a cover letter as well. I have left two to three messages on Dish's I.D. Theft number (it has been a voice mail message as no one answers the call, nor do they return the call).
I want Dish to contact the collection adjency (Convergent Outsourcing, Inc.) and tell them they that Dish has made an error regarding this and have my name and credit restored. Again, the irony is I am a long standing loyal customer who has the bill paid in full EVERY month, automatically!
No one from Dish or Convergent has contacted me!
Very frustrated...
