DISH network review - Customer service/Installation

I will not recommend Dish Network!!! If you would have asked me before I have always said positive things. I was a loyal customer until now. I had dish and then had to move into military housing in Washington. They do not allow us to have Dish here so we put it on pause instead of cancelling since we were such fans of dish, we knew that we would move and would get dish back. They gave us the option of transferring to someone we knew. Since we were fans of dish and loyal customers when my sister-in-law bought a new house and needed television we suggested we transfer to her. We called dish they set it up explained we had the receivers in Washington specifically asked if we would need to get them to OH. Dish said no they will issue her a new receiver free of charge keep ours since we will be wanting service with them when we move. So we activated our account set up the appointment. When they went to install they told her she would need to pay $600 for a receiver. So we spent hours on the phone with dish getting different answers to the same questions and told we have to mail the receivers and there is a charge for putting our account back on hold!!! There was no way we could turn our boxes at a local office so they issue her a box. WHAT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE NOT! So instead they are probably going to end up losing two loyal customers! Way to go!
