We, as a corporation, have done business with Citibank with our credit card for many years. We have a $25,000 credit limit and always pay in full and on time each month. In the past few months we have noticed that there must be new management or a buyout by the associates.
These people are out and out crooks. They will tell you they have not received a payment when they have, and then they took money out of our account for a duplicate payment. When Bank of America reversed the charges, they shut down our account for nonpayment.
I have faxed them copies of the checks, to no avail. Still no response. They have also incorrectly charged us finance charges and late charges when payments were on time, as proven by our bank's record that the check has cleared.
Advice: don't do business with these people. You can get free miles elsewhere!
