These people are driving me nuts! Every time I call, they tell me something different, and I never talk to the same person twice. They apparently bought out the other company that had my mortgage, and ever since then it has gone downhill. I got behind on a payment, so they put me on a plan to catch it up. When they get you down, they like to keep you there! I had one payment left when Isabel hit, and I was one week late because of the storm.
Now they tell me I owe them $6,800! I make all my payments through Western Union, so there is no chance of a payment not getting there. They instructed me to fax receipts so they could check it out. Guess what? They gave me the wrong fax number! I called them today and just found this out. Apparently, in the last few days they moved the building that the faxes went to. They tried to tell me that maybe the people on the other end of the fax did not know the number was changing! How does a company this size get away with this?
How does a regular person deal with them? I would really like some feedback on this. I would love to take this to a lawyer, and if I had the money, I would. Sick of their nonsense!
