Citimortgage is ruining our lives! We started out with another mortgage company before ending up with Citimortgage. Ever since then our lives have been horrible! We pay our payments on the 1st of every month, as required, although we later found out that they were not posting the payments until the 14th. So now, over the past few years, we have all these late charges, and our mortgage is suddenly not current.
Last year they set up a payment plan to make the mortgage current and skyrocketed our monthly payments. We did it in hopes that everything would get straightened out and we could refinance. A month before our final payment on this payback plan, we got a letter saying we were delinquent again. We called, and the first person my husband talked to said the plan doesn't exist and there is no record of it. So they transferred him, he sat on hold for over an hour, and he was transferred again, and again, and again.
Every time he calls, they transfer him to someone named Tamika, whom they say is the only person who can help with this matter. There is no person, just a recording, every time he calls. She won't return his calls. In the meantime, they are saying that we have to start a new plan with an even higher monthly payment in order to pay back all of these new charges.
We are pregnant with our 4th child, and now all of our other bills are falling short because we don't want to lose our house! I don't see how they can do this, and we are sick of it. It's either give up and go into foreclosure, or go to battle with an attorney in court. We have chosen to fight for our house, and we are taking them to court. I urge you all to do the same. Don't let them ruin your lives. They have to be stopped!
