In order to link my BB&T checking account with my broker account, two test transactions totaling a few tens of cents were deposited for verification. The broker posted the transaction immediately at 12:01 AM Monday, but NO ONE at my local BB&T branch, nor my online or phone account history, was able to provide me with the exact amount of the two test transactions for over 36 hours. As a result, I lost hundreds of dollars in unrealized transactions on the stock market, as I could not transfer money to my broker.
