Conflicting payment addresses and collector claims three months late

My home loan was sold to Fairbanks Capital Corp. I never received a payment book so I made my jan. Payment to my original loan holder, which I never had a problem with. Fairbanks sent me a letter in feb. With a address in phoenix az. To send my payment to.

I sent a cashiers check by overnight us mail. On March 4 I get a 7am call from some thug who says he is collecting a debt.

I ask him what debt he says what debts do you have and how much. He then says I am three months late on my house payment. I told him there is no way I just sent a check. I couldn't take this rude punk anymore so I hang up and call customer service.
