Like many, I fell into hard and lean times. I was a full-time art student with a full-time job and a full-time marriage, not to mention a couple of major auto repairs. We decided to sell the house and move in with my grandfather.
During the time when the payments were late, Midland conveniently sold my loan to Principal Residential, which is when my problems really started. That is another report in itself.
The main reason for this report, however, is to let others know that my loan with Midland was a VA loan. If you get a VA loan, find out who it is with. I must say, though, that throughout this whole ordeal I was in contact with a VA representative, and he was helpful, although grouchy.
