Midland Mortgage
The more you want to settle the problem, the higher your mortgage payment goes

The mortgage company we first closed with sold our mortgage with Midland Mortgage. I lost my job and got behind and Midland Mortgage called and said that if we agree to pay $932 for three months as a probation period and our money situation did not change they can work with us. So we paid what they wanted and after three months we contacted Midland Mortgage and they gave us four choices to choose from. 1. To continue paying $932 for the remaining of the 30 yrs, 2. $918 to extend our contract for 2 extra years, 3. $900 to extend 4 extra years, or 4 $890 to extend 5 extra years.

According to Midland we were behind about $7000 and we put it on paper and for $7000 we were to pay Midland Mortgage back an EXTRA $35,000. We were trying to get MIdland to carry our amount that we were behind in back of the mortgage and pay our regular $770 a month or give them a sum of $3000 just to catch up on the amount we were behind and they did not go for that. All they said is we can only choose from the 4 options they have given us. We did not think that was fair. Our only choice and it was hard to do was to go bankrupt.

Midland Mortgage destroyed our dream of owning our home. The people who work for Midland Mortgage think they are specialist but the only thing they are is RUDE and most of all they make you feel like you are not worthy. People makes mistakes and our mistake is to deal with Midland Mortgage. We have lost alot of time and money. Now I have uproot my family and find a rental that would accamodate our life style. And I have at least 2 months to do this. Thanks for the AMERICAN DREAM, Midland Mortgage
