The store that is located in Maricopa, AZ has a "General Manager" who is rude, arrogant, and dishonest. My roommate went there one New Year's Eve and spent a couple of hours filling out paperwork. On 06 Jan 14, his wife received a phone call inquiring about some paperwork that they think he took home.
His wife and I went down to the store and presented a regular manager with the quoted price sheet and the receipt of the down payment. The manager went into the office and after about twenty minutes stated that "the auditor" must have shredded it. The wife then did the paperwork all over again. A number of times we were told the washer/dryer were on the truck and that between 3pm-7pm it would be delivered. Then about 5:30/6 rolls around and we are told it may be around 8:15/9 pm before it gets to our house. We are told that we are #2 on the list and so we wait. Then about 7:15 we get another call stating they are stuck 20/25 miles from us.
We try to ask questions on what is going on, and the General Manager just gives us the run-around. We told him that we want our deposit back (which he does), but in the process of this conversation, he hangs up on us. When confronted face to face, he was arrogant and he really didn't care about the loss of sale, or loss of paperwork (that does have VERY personal information). I believe this place is not doing things on the up and up, and would like to know what is going to be done with this shady character.
