My wife and I can't express how dissatisfied we are with this organization. We purchased a washer and drier (both floor models) from the this particular distributor. The next day, the delivery truck arrived. These were the only two things that went right. The drier that we purchased was, to our knowledge, an electric drier - a gas one was delivered. The delivery person was apologetic, and had said that he would bring this back to the store. However, the washer, that was part of the purchase, would be installed; there was no reason to return that item. Upon returning to his truck, he got into the driver seat, started it up and left, washer and drier. After calling the number from which he called me from announcing his estimated arrival, it went to voice mail, 5 times. I called the store and spoke with the delivery manager that was sympathetic, however, told me that [delivery] was a third party and he would have to call their management to try to resolve the issue.
To spare you the pain of reading this for much longer, after speaking to the store manager whom was patronistic and condescending, I was called back by the delivery manager and told that the washer would be delivered by 3pm. 3:49pm, the truck re-arrives. The driver, whom I had made an aquitance with previously was also condescending, offering no apology for the confusion. After installing the new washer, he discovered that it does not work. At this point its laughable. Of course I did not accept the delivery and told him to re-install my old washer.
Lowe's, your delivery manager is great. Seems to me that he did a lot of leg work for us. Your upper store leadership and third party delivery is a total loss and a discredit to your core values. As much as my wife and I would have happily spent 15,000 - 20,000 on a kitchen remodeling program with your organization, we're better off shopping at another distributer with more reputable service, and working products for that matter.
Consumer beware! If you fancy Lowes, do your homework and go to a different branch. Or do what we are doing, go to Home depot.
