Before I accepted an offer from "Resort World" I called the Nevada BBB and got a faxed confirmation that "This firm is a member, in good standing". After loosing $595.00, my complaints were forwarded to the Federal Trade Commission whereby they responded that, "The low airfares sold by Resort World were a fiction..." Resort world is bankrupt and I am told the chances of getting any money back after litigation is remote.
Isn't the BBB supposed to protect us from this kind of thing?
