Air Monarch sneakers squeak from the first step, both pairs

I returned the first pair to Olympia Sports due to squeaking all the time. I went back to Olympia Sports with the second pair, which has the same annoying squeak. The sneaker does it from the moment you start walking. They said there was nothing they could do. I telephoned Nike customer service and was told that, if I want, I have to pay to ship them to Nike, file a claim and await word on whether the claim is warranted.
No longer will I purchase Nike sneakers!
