Credit account adds to intinity theft

Have have been a credit customer for two years, with excellent credit rating. I recently purchased two TV's and added them to my current credit account. Your sales rep got my name, current account number (with GE) then ask for my SSN which GE already has, I was also ask to show my drivers licenses & he recorded my drivers lic number... This is TOO much info to give to a sales person. Your accounting system must be outdated... HAVE YOU HEARD IF IDENITY THEFT??? This is an example of how it happens. Bottom line you lost a good customer...
