Bought Nike Maxx Air sneakers from Shoe Station. Washed them in washing machine (who doesn't?). The heels were squashed in the machine, almost like they melted, even thought I washed them in cold water. I put them on to see if they might get pushed back into the normal shape but there is some kind of plastic or metal band in the back that won't move. I wish I had taken pictures before I threw the shoes away. Shoes were permanently mis-shapen. Called Nike, they said they were not responsible since I bought from Shoe Station instead of online, but send anyway. Paid $75 for shoes, another $14 to ship. Sent me a letter back saying they should only be washed by hand or in sink, not washing machine. Who on earth only washes sweaty tennis shoes in the sink? Anyway, they sent me the shoes back with a letter saying it was my fault and I was out of luck. Nike is such a huge company, I bet if I bought them online they would have refunded my money. Regardless, this was my first and last pair of Nike shoes.
