Shutting off my cable - Dish Network

I was laid off from my job on August 30, no severence. I immedately applied for umemployment and began contacting my creditors. I explained to Dish Network that I had luckily landed a job and would be able to pay my bill, in full, on October 15th. They refused. I have been a loyal, paying customer. I don't complain about the outages, the slow channel changing, the low budget line up, etc... I don't have a high paying job and cable TV is seriously my family's main form of entertainment - you can't afford to do much of anything else in this economy. I will be changing cable providers. I honestly thought that Dish Network was one of those companies you could count on for being a provider for the working class dog, the underdogs who work their butts off for a little of nothing - boy was I wrong. I hope the Dish execs enjoy their fancy BMWs and lavish lifestyles because that's about all it appears that they have (they certainly have no heart). I will write this experience off as a bad mistake and take my busniess elsewhere.
