Hardship - dish network lies

Due to job loss, I cancelled service and relocated900 miles away to live with family. Since I got out of the contract early, DISH wants $242 as the fee for the remainder of the contract.
At this time, I am unable to pay that amount, and called DISH on 10/29 and spoke with Gene, who said that my account WOULD NOT be debited. I called to follow-up on 11-4 and was told my account WOULD BE debited. Also, they attempted to get me re-connected. I live with family, so I am essentially HOMELESS. Huge sigh. Essentially, Gene lied to me. Well, fast forward, they "attempted" to get payment and the card was declined, since I do not have the money. I TOLD THEM THIS DURING BOTH PHONE CALLS.
I then get an email, asking me to update my payment information. Again, dish network, i do not have the money at this time.
