I am compelled to share my rant about Verizon DSL customer service. I just read someone else's rant and it was nearly identical.

I have spent nearly 2 months trying to get working service and spent 10-20 hours of cell phone time trying to get this resolved.
I spent 1.5 hours yesterday repeating my tale of woe (after getting hung up on on transfers twice) to tech support reps. Finally finally I got someone at the Tech Support Supervisors desk. She gave me a new BAT PHONE number to get me right to them. She provided a PIN# that I would need. Well guess what?
After the guy that was supposed to come from 8-12 didn't show up I call the BAT PHONE number and entered the PIN—and the recording said "this PIN is not valid" OMG I AM TOTALLY POSTAL NOW!!!
And what also ticks me off to no end is that this crappy customer service always is met with "well have you thought about getting FIOS?" All this company is interested in is selling me FIOS. They are unwilling to resolve the issue or give me any compensation for my troubles. I hate them and wish that I had options.
