I had been An Immediate TV person for more than 13 years and not had difficulty with my gear. I upgraded to Highdef and needed to "rent" new gear, both a Higher-Def receiver along with a Regular-Def recipient. 9 weeks later, the Conventional-Def recipient wouldn't power-on.

After being on postpone and on, I had been ultimately educated Direct TV might substitute my recipient - to get a $19.95 handling charge. I advised them why must I spend to displace a bit of gear that used to do not possess, that I had been renting - is the fact that not exactly what the regular rent charge covers? I requested to consult with a boss and was placed on store for all more moments. The initial individual returned about the point (no boss) and educated me they might renounce the $19.95 handling charge easily bought a long warranty - On Leased Gear!

And So I asked when they were declining to displace my 9-month old recipient. They advised me I've to pay for the handling charge.
