I'm the target of Directv baitandswitch. I observe that Their State of california has had this issue with Directv and reached an arrangement to pay for $5 thousand and prevent misleading methods. They've evidently overlooked to recognize their contract. Listed here is my account.
I'm constantly inundated by direct-mail marketing from DirecTv declaring support for $21.99, $25.99 etc monthly. All market that I'll obtain a free DirecTv phone or DVR plus some weeks of free quality deals. I registered, and was informed that my regular cost could be $25.99 plus $5.00 for HD to get a whole of $29.99 monthly plus applicable fees. Used to do not concur that my charge card be billed instantly. The support was installed. I observed for some times after which quit on a long journey. Today, upon my return I notice I've been billed $102.39 monthly for that first 8 weeks. I named and was informed that I should submit a Refund demand to obtain the advertised price but that I'll not be returned the funds currently billed. Easily stop I'll be billed a termination charge.
I've been lied to and Directv will not return my cash or let me stop without violent costs. They're snubbing their noses in the contract they created using the Florida Attorneygeneral's offce. The FCC must control this violent Satellite Television supplie
