Hotels.com rewards can be misleading and deceptive. Your rewards are not combined worldwide. If you book in the US and Asia, you cannot combine them. The website is confusing and misleading on this point. For example, the website showed I needed three more nights to reach gold status. However, if booked in Asia, these nights do not count.
