Unable to get a clear picture

I am unable to get a clear picture and I called your technical help desk. My service person's name is Lorena in Oregon. She walked me through all of the steps to restore clear satellite reception. None of them worked so she told me the first available service time was Monday.

Turns out my schedule next week can't accommodate the service tech until Thursday a week away. The tech service person was more interested in knowing if she had served me well than letting me know how sorry she was that I was having trouble. She as a matter of fact was neither sorry for my problems nor that I could not get service before Monday. She sounded bored as if I was just a bother.

I have been a customer of Direct TV since the 1980s and I have seen a deterioration of your customer service. I called several months ago and asked about your HD program. I couldn't understand why I am paying $80 for my Direct TV service and was told I now have to pay $99 more for an HD receiver. If I were a new customer I would be able to get a real deal for much less than I am currently paying.

So that experience coupled with this one tells me it is probably time to get a new satellite provider or move to cable. I realize in today's world service is just a memory but if this is how you treat your longtime loyal customers then you probably won't even miss me when I am gone!
