Direct TV is now on my "ish" list!!! The service was upgraded when we moved here, but being a loyal customer didn't seem to matter. We still paid for the "movers fee" which turned out to be $350 plus unknowingly entered into a new 2 yr contract... Wtf? Now that we cancelled it, they want ALL the equipment (mind you that we paid 70 bucks a whop for the boxes and $150 for the dish!) plus the monthly service fee for each box which was 4 total, and a $350 cancellation fee. Well you know what I say to that... F U Direct TV... All you will get is a bunch of nothing from me which was the same you played on the 300 channels we supposedly had access to. What a joke!
Poor Installation-the Tech was high and it took him 11 hours to set up the new service!
Poor Service-we lost it for 2 weeks during their little controversy
Poor Customer service-Never a consistent answer
Poor Customer relations: why charge someone over $350 when they have been a customer for more than 2 years for new equipment during a move? Why automatically add the NFL package to be billed only because we ordered before and make up cancel it ourselves? Why not just charge a monthly fee all inclusive instead all the add ons which makes the bill rediculously higher than originally stated!!!
