Sent a bill for 3 months after I have cancelled and moved - dish network billing and executive resolutions

I just got off the phone after an hour and a half with dish network, I just recieved a bill for 3 months after I had called 10 days before I moved from our home after selling, they agreed I had called to cancel and the service to our home was disconnected but in their office it was not discontinued so I would still have to pay... What is that??? Why would I call to cancel (which they agreed I did) and then move to another home in utah less than 30 days later and hook up with dish network again??? I have been a loyal customer for over 20yrs. With dish network, but I am very displeased with them, you would think if something was explained and agreed to that would be the end of it but no, they are still planning on billing me. If I had not have already signed a contract with dish with the 2 yr. Commitment, I would not be a customer any more... Very unhappy
