I had lightning strike my Direct TV dish and as a result my 40 inch LED TV, modem and router fried completely. I had the system looked at by an electrical engineer, who noticed that the installer had grounded the system improperly which subsequently caused the damage. I called Direct TV about it, and opened a case/claim to recover the losses incurred. The lightning strike was on May 16 and I haven't heard a word from this company. I wish that they would overlook my bill, the way that they have ignored my claim.
