Just curious. has anyone else had horrible problems with their at&t u-verse account? I have had one nightmare! Since February 4th when I inadvertently signed up for U-Verse, and as soon as it was installed and I realized what it really was (quite different from what the sales rep sold me), I decided within 2 weeks to terminate the service. Since that date, all totaled I have literally SPENT 10 HOURS, 11 MINUTES with them on the phone trying to get them to acknowledge that I was not delinquent $218.95. A few days ago, they finally reconciled my account to show I only owed the correct amount of $44.16. But, in the meantime, they had sent me to a collection agency before they had even bothered to reconcile all the adjustments to my account. They do not care that I have a very good credit rating, and I am upset that even though AT&T has finally reconciled my account, my credit is now blemished. I hate at&t!!!
