Windstream - Terrible Service

Windstream has to be the worst ISP I have experienced. I did a speed test when I first got Windstream and it was about 2.6 mbps download and 1.8 upload (something around there). 4 months later I have a router problem that I am forced to call them about and they have me run a speed test and I got 1.0 mbps download and. 6 mbps upload. I asked if they changed my service plan and they responded "We only have one plan and one speed and your speed has not changed, " which it clearly has. Never-mind that, 2 months after I got the service I kept having to call Windstream every 2-3 weeks to "activate" my service because my connection wouldn't establish and for no reason. Now, I am in a situation when I am very, very angry and disappointed. February 2nd I lost the internet. They said it was because of an overdue amount of $60.00, which I didn't know about, and they decided to PERMANENTLY close the account. So I had to make a new account (regretfully), hoping I would get service back. They said "if it doesn't work by tomorrow, call back." (By this time it is February 5th). So I call back TWO days later because I was busy and they decide to tell me that "Windstream has run out of pins, so your service cannot be activated until they make more pins, which will be February 11th." So now I am forced to use my free hotspot (that is much faster than the service I pay for) just so I can get my homework done. Please reconsider getting Windstream because it is a very bad decision. I plan on dropping them today.
