Past week I was contacted by TWC representative (Michelle) from the promotions department in California offering me to upgrade my my internet into the bundle that consisted of internet basic cable plan for just $10 more. From the very beginning it sounded too good to be true, however we still followed through as we were really happy with this "special promotional offer"... Keep in mind that the same service is 79.99 instead of $58 that my new monthly total came out to be. I talked to Michelle again this past Monday (Dec 17) and she once again confirmed my basic plan. Really happy about it I waited untill today the 22nd for it to be installed. I finally turned on my TV and it's 28channels, half of which are ad channels. Thinking that it was a mistake I called TWC.
That's how it went: I explained my situation and received an answer that TWC doesn't offer such bundle at this price. I explained that Michelle from promotions assured me of this deal and of course having no proof (other than supossedly recorded conversation) I was put in a place of an idiot.
TWC is the company that offers something that's unreal and then after having your hopes up hopes that you will upgrade (of course, with an additional payment) later on.
So basically, the support told me that they were sorry for misunderstanding and disinformation and simply told me that if im unhappy I can cancel it right away or pay up and get a different plan - Its noone's fault..
Very disappointed and frustrated.
