DISH BOX NOT HD READY - Dish Network

My mother had your service installed in September of she did not want the hopper, just hd service for two rooms. The dish on the roof says "hd" but the box they installed at the TV isn't. I didn't think I had to check your installers equipment to make sure it was hd. He was told she wanted it to be hd due to the fact she was going to get new TVs soon.

I purchased a new flat screen hd TV for her for Christmas, she doesn't know yet, but when I checked the box at her home, NO hdmi connection. So I called customer service and was told she would have to purchase the hd box for $199.00 plus installation fees. I find this VERY disturbing that your company wont exchange boxes for the hd ones it was suppose to have installed in the first place. Your company should resolve this issue at NO CHARGE to her for the inconvenience. Replace the box with an hd box and installation for free.
