Travelers Inn and Suites is the WORST HOTEL in the San Diego area. The Manager on duty is extremely rude to ALL incoming guests. She treats all incoming guests as if she is doing you a favor by letting you stay there, so be prepared the reservation process will be a bad one, everyone I talked to said she was so rude The manager makes up her own prices according to what you look like.
Be prepared to pay a deposit!
It is not listed on Booking.com, but the Manager will charge anywhere from $50.00 to $150.00 for your stay, if you don't pay it you will not be allowed to stay. During my stay as a solo traveler I was charged $100.00 deposit, additionally I was charged an additional $10.00 per day over and above the Booking.com rate for a kitchen that was already listed as included for my stay. I argued my point, but the Manager refused to rent the room to me unless I paid... A $100.00 deposit, and $10.00 per day for my stay... So a week stay went up by $170.00 just go get in the door.
The carpets and couch are filthy, they are never cleaned. Nor is the room for that matter, once some one moves out the maid removes the linens and gets the room ready for the next unsuspecting guest. The rooms are dirty, run down, half finished and have enormous problems. My room flooded 3 times from upstairs, the last being the night before I move out. The kitchens do not have working fans,
The fan is missing and there is an open hole with rust that will get into your food if you cook. The bathrooms have no fans but again a large hole for the fan, that has been replaced my a hole and an extreme amount of rust in place. The walls are eaten up at the base due to rot, the tub is full of dried paint, the room outlets have no covers so children should not be allowed to stay in any room. The management is rude and unwilling to help with any problems in your room, you will be asked to leave if you complain.

THERE IS NOT SUCH WORD AS A REFUND. Per the Manager we do not EVER give money back. My stay at the Travelers Inn and Suites was a total nightmare!
