I purchased travel insurance knowing that I might have to change this flight from Expedia. Called Expedia and I wanted to change my flight to a day earlier than I had originally purchased. So I followed directions and went and found a new flight that would of cost me $94. Expedia told me that it would cost $244 to make that change; $94 $150 change fee but you can try the airlines. I informed them I purchased flight insurance and they said I would have to file a claim.
So after many go arounds with Expedia and United I decided to call the insurance company. They wanted me to fill out a claim and said work related incidents are not covered. Only if you are sick or someone in your family dies! The also said re purchase at the $244 and file the claim and we will let you know if it will be refunded.
To make a long story short I was not going to file a claim when I can purchase another flight for $94. Next stop to the airport to see if a flight attendant can help me.
This company was not helpful and is misleading the public as to what they are offering.
They suck do not buy their insurance!
