My husband and I stayed at Comfort Suite between August 30th to September 1st in the Miami area, we stayed in room #110, when we requested a non smoking room. On the 1st September sometime after 1.00 A.M. While asleep the telephone rang, I thought it was an emergency from my children then I remembered they did not have number for the room only our cellular phones, I missed that particular call, then the phone rang again, very concerned I dashed to the telephone, a front desk clerk (male) stated that the guest next door complained about smoke is coming from our room, I told him my husband nor I smokes, and no one was smoking, he insisted there is a fee, and he personally came by and heard something spraying. He decided to send a security guard to check our room, I was very angry to be accused and privacy invaded for a false accusation levy against my husband and I. I also noticed when I checked the caller ID calls came to the room and we was not even on the property. And while taking our luggages from the van I saw a man smoking outside when stayed in an adjacent hotel, after explaining to the security guard he stated that the smoke came through the vent from outside, also took our garbage with him, probably for further investigation. Shortly after the front desk call apologizing after the security guard explain the situation to him, I told him that his apology was not accepted and I will inform my attorney and let everyone know not to stay at Comfort Suite EVER
