No refund given for two days without air conditioning 105 degree RIPOFF

At Budge Suites you have to pay first, then you get to see the room. Upon entering, the carpet was filthy, had not been vacuumed, had to go back to front desk and borrow vacuum.

Entire unit was extremely dirty and very poorly maintained. Dirt and stains on walls, floors, sinks, etc.

Air conditioning not working, just blowing air. Went back to front desk and asked that it be repaired, gave permission for maintenance to enter room without my being present.By next afternoon, 4pm, it had not been fixed. Called front desk, and was told maintenance would be right over.

When no one showed up by 11am the next day, I called front desk and asked for the manager. Was put on hold and after waiting over five minutes, I hung up. About two minutes later the maintenace man showed up and replaced the AC unit.

At check out, I asked for a refund of some kind for the two days without AC (my understanding is that it's illegal in Las Vegas, to rent a room out that isn't air conditioned). Clerk said the refund would have to come from the manager who was not available. Clerk took my phone number and said manager would call me. It's now over a week, still no call.
