Reserved 3 areas in the Le Meridien for just two evenings, but didn't obtain any Starwood points.

When asked, was informed, since I arranged through 3rd party (Expedia).

Scheduling through Starwood.com was $30/space more & didn't contain parking ($60/time worth).

I described exactly the same to customer support at Starwood, but she'd not fit the cost.

I had been informed from the resort that I ought to have settled the larger cost & requested to get a return.
