My travel companion upgraded his ticket to business class 3 days ago using Lifemiles without incident, however so far I have made 7 phone calls to the TACA Call Centre over the past 3 days trying to do the same upgrade to Business Class but each time the Call Centre agent puts me on hold and tells me there is a problem with their system and asks me to call back. No apologies have been offered for the inconvenience, and no one knows when the problem will be fixed or any assurance if there will be any business class seats still available when the problem is fixed. How can a big Corporation like TACA expect to earn customer loyalty when they treat us like a nuisance. I can't see me ever flying TACA again after this trip.
