I would NOT recommend Fare Buzz for any travel needs, especially for those of any importance. I am the travel supervisor for a Contractor and decided to book travel for our employees to a job site out of state. I booked the travel, then called the number provided to make sure all was in order. I was told on the phone that their offices were closed for the Thanksgiving holiday, but would return the following Monday. I was assured that all was well with the travel plans for my employees and that I receive an email confirming. I did receive the email to confirm and assumed that all was well for my employees and left for the holiday weekend.
I glanced at my emails on Sunday (travel day) and noticed that there was one from Fare Buzz. I checked it and found that they had emailed me over the weekend because I was not the one flying and they needed to verify my credit card. I promptly called and found that my bookings were canceled and now my employees were without a flight on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. They were also unwilling to make it right and honor the flights and fares originally quoted.
I would NEVER recommend this service to anyone and will pay more to go through a reputable company, such as Expedia or Travelocity to ensure that I am not in this position again. I book travel for our employees often and have never had this problem with any other company that I have booked with. It caused great stress and financial pain to rebook and make sure that we were on the job site when we had to be.
