I bought into a "Dream vacation" so it was called when we went for our spill and it sounded real good and the questions I asked were answered but not truthfull. It is a scam and I tell you why. You buy points between 7000 and 12000 and they will give you bonus nights.
If you hold out a little longer they will give you unlimited bonus nights and a VIP membership and a member ship to RCI and about 2-3 free vacations and cruises which you find out real quick that the fees involved are more then the cruise is worth. Coming back to the bonus night you can book them only 45 days or less from the day you want to go that was never told to us even when we asked.
You can book a full week 11 months in advance and that takes a lot of points to do so not many members have enough points to do that. You can book partial weeks 2-4 days for example about 6 months in advance so in August or any other time in vacation months is not available because the weeks have taken them. What do you think your chances are that you can get a bonus night. NILL that is right. However we were promised to have 3 bonus nights in August because that was the only way we would sign up.
No problem we have taken time off to go to the beach for a few days. NOT get a call from the guy whom sold this to me and he says I just wanted to let you know that your resevations are not there. We have no room. Better talk to the salesmanager. OK no problem he said when I called I call you back. Called back that evening and offered to let us stay at a golfclub. No thanks I dont play golf, Ok howaabout another resort 10 miles from the beach. No not good either. Ok well put you in a hotel on the beach OK great no problem there. Well you have to pay over double for the rooms. Not good since the reservations we were promised had a 2 bedroom, livingroom, kitchen, washer and dryer and this is just a hotel room.
Well I look some more and call you right back. Wrong again. Called the salesmanager several times now leave messages No call back nothing. I am out of 1500 bucks for nothing with no vacation. How can these scumbags get by. Believe me I am not a dummy and am not easely talked into these scams but this looked like it had some potential. Would have known better if they would have answerred all the questions truthfully. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.
When it sounds to good to be true it probably is.
