This is just to let everyone know that if you have had contact with the Ramada Plaza Resorts via receipt of a "travel booklet" which looks like a boarder pass, BEWARE. I received this same information and decided to call. I began to become suspicious when the gentleman couldnt keep his story straight.
I used to work in time share telemarketing so I knew what questions to ask. The gentleman started telling me how much money he needed from me. I told him I did not want to pay any money. He asked if I had a credit or debit card at which point I deceptively said no. He told me he knew I had a debit card and he knew I had the money to pay for the trip. He told me who i banked with. I COULDNT BELIEVE IT!!! I called Ramada corporate and asked to speak to someone to let them know that their name is associated with this shoddy business and got customer support.
I was assured that all was ok only to receive a call from a rep the next day to "offer the package even more discounted and book a time". These different people degraded me on the phone to the point of tears. Please if you know of anyone who is in contact with these people tell them NO!
I would not stay in a Ramada in for anything in the world. Although they may not be directly connected, just the name makes me ill now. I understand that everyone is out to work, but when you lose your common decency and your sense of humanity, then you are doomed to a life of nothing.
